Dermal Micro-Coring Device for the Treatment of Moderate to Severe Perioral and Medical Check Rhytids
This is a prospective, single-center study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the dermal micro-coring device for the treatment of moderate to severe perioral and medial cheek rhytids. Interim data were presented by Nicole Salame, MD at the 2024 ASLMS conference.

Safety and Effectiveness of Dermal Microcoring for Treatment of Laxity, Rhytids, and Scarring
Presented at the 2024 ASLMS conference by David Hashemi, MD, MBA. A retrospective chart review of 32 patients treating with dermal micro-coring in a clinical practice setting. 66% of patients were treated for laxity and facial rhytids, 25% were treated for acne scarring, and 9% were treated for traumatic or surgical scars.

An Abdominoplasty model study was conducted to evaluate histopathology and immunohistochemistry of the skin after a single and multiple treatments of micro-coring technology. This presentation reviews the study design and results to further improve understanding of the histological effect of MCT wihout the use of thermal energy.
